Activities for 2008

We have started a new activity sign up list for 2008! This year we will plan to have one activity each month. Some ideas for optional activities are: Luau/picnic, camping trip, Sounds game, Zoo trip, Combined devo, 4th of July party, etc. or feel free to create your own! We have plugged in the Hayride/Halloween party for October, Thanksgiving potluck for November and Shopping/Wrapping for December, otherwise February-September are open for sign up. Please either post a comment to sign up for a month or sign up on the list in class on Sunday. Please let the Segadi's or Byrd's know if you have questions. Thanks!

Prayer Requests from Sunday, January 13th

Here are the prayer requests from class on Sunday:

*Andrew Williams, Rebekah's brother- having eye surgery for a detached retna
*Jamie Karkau, David's sister in law- baby boy due this week
*Karkau's ultra sound on Thursday, pray for healthy baby!!
*Allison family- Jason, preacher at Pegram church of Christ, lost his wife, Evette, unexpectedly this weekend. They have three young children.
*Semanchiks's relative- young nephew in hospital with bleeding on the brain
*Reece Gebhardt, friend of Tanner's- preemie baby born weighing less than 2 lbs
*Brent Adams, HU grad, bike accident and has been hospitalized since 1st of December- expected to be paralyzed, see blog mentioned in previous prayer requests
*Guatemala missions team- safe and successful trip
*Scott Loftis, friend of Jay- has court date on Wednesday to plead guilty for use of the internet to commit a crime, sentencing hearing will be in 4-6 weeks- please pray for peace and acceptance in this situation
