*Nikki's cousin- 8 months pregnant and lost baby
*Troy's cousins- lost their mother 2 weeks ago and lost step mother a couple of years ago
*Brody Bowen- inserting tubes and removing atnoids on Wednesday
*Karkau's nephew- doing well but still having trouble breathing
*Mark & Marcy, Adcock's neighbors- going through adoption process
*Christine's sister's sister-in-law- John & Clancy Hilliar- pray for successfull invetro
*Kathy Galloway, former teacher with Candie, Molly & Chad- under hospice care with cancer
*Pray for strong marriages and wisdom as parents
*Pray for our upcoming class session and the elders as they teach classes

*Brody Bowen- having tubes in ears again and adnoids removed next Wednesday
*Reece Gebhart, friend of Tanners'- premie baby anticipating surgery
*Andy Hyberger- father passed away after short battle with cancer
*Karkau's newphew- at home!
*Cheryl, Robert's cousin- chemo & radiation for breast cancer
*Janna Shuford, friend of Ashley Sasser- 9 mo old baby passed away and she is excepting another child

*Praise for our families health and safety
*Please be prayerful about class next week regarding unity and what that means to our church family for 2008

*David's sister in law had their baby and everything seems to look good, PRAISE!
*Christine's brother, Edward- being deployed to Korea, pray for safety
*Reece Gebheart, friend of Tanner's- premie baby having surgery
*Ray Family, newborn premie twins, one in Vanderbilt the other baby is at Baptist
*Tornado victims- John Rochford is coordinating a group from church to go up Saturday morning to help with cleanup efforts. Men and women of all ages are needed! Meet at BHCC at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Contact John at 330-2876 if you plan to go.
*Neal Beaman, friend of Bradley- 6 yr old daughter passed away from cancer
*Dana's papaw- surgery on foot
*Dana's great uncle- in hospital
*Craig's dad- has flu and bronchits
*Robert Holiday's cousin- surgate mother carring baby
*Pray for our marriages and our children

Activities for 2008

We have started a new activity sign up list for 2008! This year we will plan to have one activity each month. Some ideas for optional activities are: Luau/picnic, camping trip, Sounds game, Zoo trip, Combined devo, 4th of July party, etc. or feel free to create your own! We have plugged in the Hayride/Halloween party for October, Thanksgiving potluck for November and Shopping/Wrapping for December, otherwise February-September are open for sign up. Please either post a comment to sign up for a month or sign up on the list in class on Sunday. Please let the Segadi's or Byrd's know if you have questions. Thanks!

Here are the prayer requests from class on Sunday:

*Andrew Williams, Rebekah's brother- having eye surgery for a detached retna
*Jamie Karkau, David's sister in law- baby boy due this week
*Karkau's ultra sound on Thursday, pray for healthy baby!!
*Allison family- Jason, preacher at Pegram church of Christ, lost his wife, Evette, unexpectedly this weekend. They have three young children.
*Semanchiks's relative- young nephew in hospital with bleeding on the brain
*Reece Gebhardt, friend of Tanner's- preemie baby born weighing less than 2 lbs
*Brent Adams, HU grad, bike accident and has been hospitalized since 1st of December- expected to be paralyzed, see blog mentioned in previous prayer requests
*Guatemala missions team- safe and successful trip
*Scott Loftis, friend of Jay- has court date on Wednesday to plead guilty for use of the internet to commit a crime, sentencing hearing will be in 4-6 weeks- please pray for peace and acceptance in this situation
